2. Complete the application, attach your

3. You will be contacted only if we
need additional information. Your listing will appear in the
next edition of the magazine.
What
is the Verified Directory?
Home Remodeling Cape Cod, The lsands & The South Coast magazine contains
a comprehensive “verified” directory of businesses
providing remodeling services.
All contractors and home services providers who provide the
necessary verification information will receive a standard
listing on our website, www.homeremodelingcapecod.com,
for only a $100 processing fee (name, town, phone) if all
parts of the verification process are met. For those
who wish to stand apart from their competitors, a feature
listing can be purchased for a limited time for an annual
rate of $395 plus the $100 processing fee which includes 2
issues of the magazine - both our spring & fall issues.

The verification seal identifies you as a reputable
provider of quality service. The term “verified” is
used to demonstrate to homeowners that our magazine has
checked the following 3 areas of information: State Licensing
(if required by state), Business Insurance and Customer
References. If these criteria are met, the contractor
will be verified. |

All general and specialty contractors and service providers
who participate in the verification process will receive a
standard listing (for only a $100/year processing
fee - web only) and will be labeled as verified (if they qualify).
For those who wish to upgrade from a "standard
listing" to a "featured listing"
the cost is $395 for 2 issues of the magazine. Feature Listings
provides homeowners with the essential information needed
to select a reputable service provider for their home projects.

been extended to select home services providers across the
Cape & Islands. If your competitor takes the time to be
listed and is verified, and you choose to pass on the opportunity,

Q: What questions will Home Remodeling Cape Cod, The lsands & The South Coast magazine be asking our references?
A: We will be asking whether customers were satisfied
or dissatisfied with the services provided. If we find
that the customer was not satisfied, we will ask why and then
communicate this information back to the business owner.
Q: What happens if my business does not
have one of the 3 items required for verification?
A: You will still receive a Feature Listing,
but the verified seal will not be on the listing until
the criteria is met.
Q: Why should I participate?
My firm has all the business I can
handle. I do not want more customers
calling me, because I cannot satisfy the business I already
have.
A: Most firms right now have a pipeline / backlog
that is 6 -12 months out. We understand that finding new customers
is not a high priority at this moment. Our feature listing
will not only reinforce the reputability of your firm to your
existing customer base, but it will also allow your firm to
specify the types of projects you are interesting in assuming.
If you limit your work to large, high-end remodeling projects,
then tell that to our readers. Your listing will also put
your business in the company of other reputable firms.
Q: I am a subcontractor, and I only work with

verified directory?
A: Though most of our readers will be homeowners,
many contractors read our magazine and will use the directory
to locate quality subcontractors. You will thereby be informing

a member of a local trade association. Why do I need
to participate in the verification process?
A: We
encorage all businesses provide home-improvement services
to join their local trade associations and become a member
of the BBB.
